Spurs lose out to PSV Eindhoven in quarter-final

Following on from my post this morning, our Academy beat Sparta Prague 1-0 thanks to a late Jack Munns goal, but lost out to PSV Eindhoven on penalties this afternoon in the U19 Champions Trophy in Düsseldorf.

Souleymane Coulibaly scored a penalty to put us ahead, but PSV equalised within two minutes, and the match eventually went to penalties. It seems that we lost 4-2 with Munns and Dombaxe scoring from the spot. Coulibaly hit the bar with his second penalty kick of the match, and Milos Veljkovic missed the other.

Spurs XI v PSV: Miles, Barthram, Ekong, Veljkovic, Gomelt, Dombaxe, Ball, Hawkins (Bentaleb, 35), McEvoy, Ward (Munns, 27), D McQueen (Coulibaly, 14).

Thanks Windy always on the pulse of our future stars. I wonder how many make it out of that lot, where is the Aussie the Brazilian and the latest 17 year old cant think of his name. Also do you think any of them ill star for the first team they will be moving to our new complex this year . Davspurs

Aussie – Luongo, Brazilian – Uvini and 17 year old – Bentaleb? Luongo is too old for this one, Uvini’s only a trialist, and Bentaleb was involved 🙂 Or did you mean Husinec? Don’t think he has signed as yet.

I reckon a few have a chance – next season is a big year for a number of them!

Aussie could’ve possibly meant Giancarlo Gallifuoco too, he would have been eligible for this so it’s not as clear why he wasn’t there.

Lol, the latest 17year old! That narrows it down for you Windy! lol.
Please give Tottenham some luck someone, all the other teams like Chelsea, Arse, Mancs getting unbelievable luck whilst we get absolute nothing.
